Jefferson Health gets $2M gift for cannabis-related initiative


Jefferson Health and an Australian philanthropist are launching a second cannabis-related project, PhillyVoice reported.

The latest is an initiative to spur advances in the use of industrial hemp. The philanthropist, Barry Lambert, provided a $2 million gift to launch the fund, which will be part of Jefferson’s Innovation Pillar, aimed at advancing sustainability and research.
