Jefferson Hospitals settles allegations of ADA violations at outpatient imaging service


Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals and Outpatient Imaging Affiliates have reached a settlement with federal prosecutors in Philadelphia to resolve allegations that its outpatient imaging service violated the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by failing to provide access to dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) bone density scans to individuals with disabilities at its local facilities.
