Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams picks Wingstop executive as its next CEO


A new CEO is joining Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams next month.

The Columbus-based ice cream brand Tuesday named Stacy Peterson as its next chief executive officer. She starts in December.

Peterson spent the last nine years at Addison, Texas-based restaurant brand Wingstop, most recently as chief revenue officer. She previously was chief experience officer and chief digital and technology officer at the company.

Wingstop grew from 550 locations when Peterson joined in 2013 to more than 1,900 today…
