The locally owned Solomon's Delicatessen will open its Davis location at 7 a.m. on May 21, the business announced on Facebook.
The eatery replaces Hot Italian, which recently closed at 500 First St. in Davis. Hot Italian co-founder Andrea Lepore is also a co-founder of Solomon's Delicatessen.
A downtown Sacramento site on the 700 block of K Street is also in the works, though an opening date for that Solomon's location has not been announced.
