Johns Hopkins Bayview faces more pushback over planned $469 million expansion


A group of local unions and community organizations are continuing efforts to stall a $469 million expansion project being plotted by Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

United Workers, Charmed City Land Trust and Sanctuary Streets have again submitted documents to state regulators voicing opposition to Bayview's pending expansion and renovation plans. The plans propose the construction of a new inpatient building, and renovation of two existing buildings on Bayview's East Baltimore campus.
