Kansas’ recruitment of Panasonic for $4B EV battery plant includes an original song


Obviously, other factors helped steer Panasonic to Kansas: geography, lots of available land, an able workforce, and lots and lots of incentives. But it appears that a song written by a Kansas Commerce Department employee also may have had a small hand in landing the $4 billion, 4,000-job project.
