A Kansas City-based life insurer will sell in a deal valued at roughly $200 million, and as a bonus for local history buffs, the company will remain in its notable downtown headquarters.

Ozark National Life Insurance Co. said Thursday that it and affiliated company N.I.S. Financial Services Inc. have an agreement to sell to National Western Life Group Inc. Austin-based National Western Life will buy stock of the companies for approximately $203 million, subject to adjustments, according to a release.
