Kenosha County affordable apartments among winners of new state tax credit


Wisconsin officials on Thursday announced the $6.62 million inaugural round of awards in a new tax credit program to support affordable apartment developments.

The announcement was made in Paddock Lake, where a project with 140 affordable apartments received $1 million through the tax credit program. It was among nine projects with a combined 1,065 affordable apartments that won the competitive state tax credits this year.
