A new restaurant is coming to the former Sweet Grass space at 937 Cooper St.
It will be called The Public.
The venture is being led by Kate Ashby, the owner of Knifebird.
"It'll be a classic American bistro," Ashby said. "[The Public] will be a little less focused on sports and more focused on dining and connecting with people. So, we will not be a sports bar, which I keep warning people."
