Kraft Heinz buys Canadian coffee company


Kraft Heinz Co.’s Canadian subsidiary has acquired Ethical Bean Coffee, a Vancouver-based roasting company, according to Daily Coffee News by Roast Magazine.

Terms were not disclosed.

Kraft Heinz (Nasdaq:KHC) is based in Pittsburgh and in Chicago and owns coffee brands Maxwell House and Gevalia.

Ethical Bean, launched in 2003. Its core business is roasting for grocery distribution and wholesale, the article said.
