Kraft Heinz thinking of selling its Maxwell House brand


The Kraft Heinz Co. might be interested in selling its venerable Maxwell House coffee brand.

CNBC reported that the Chicago- and Pittsburgh-based food giant (Nasdaq: KHC) has hired investment bank Credit Suisse to examine options for the Maxwell House coffee division, which could include a possible sale.

The sale could garner as much as $3 billion, according to the report.
