Kraft Macaroni & Cheese is getting a makeover — including a new name.
The Kraft Heinz Co. said it will shorten the name of its 85-year-old kitchen staple to just Kraft Mac & Cheese.
The Chicago- and Pittsburgh-based food giant (Nasdaq: KHC) said it now sells a million boxes a day of the product, which was introduced in 1937 during the Great Depression and took off during World War II, when 50 million boxes were sold, according to Wikipedia.
