The Kushner Cos. has been subpoenaed by federal prosecutors.
The New York-based real estate company issued a statement saying it has "nothing to hide and is cooperating fully with all legitimate requests for information, including this subpoena."
The federal subpoena arrived one day after an Associated Press feature detailed how the Kushner Cos. allegedly filed false paperwork stating it had zero rent-regulated tenants in buildings across New York City.
