LA home-goods startup Parachute floats with $30 million round


Parachute has tripled its funding in a bid to expand the retail footprint of its home-goods brand.

The Silicon Beach startup has raised a $30 million Series C for its line of high-quality bedding, bath and table linens and other home décor.

Founded by Ariel Kaye in 2014, the company uses European-sourced materials for its highly curated textiles, which it sells directly to consumers online. Parachute has grown an average of 400 percent year-over-year.
