Land development, naming rights, public dollars complicate choice for Canes’ Dundon


As days become weeks and weeks become months, Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon is still undecided on the new naming rights deal for PNC Arena. He also is not sure if he can ever get the land near the arena to develop scores of acres. So why should the public commit (through the Centennial Authority) hundreds of millions of dollars to support upgrades at the arena?
