The Austin Business Journal's 2022 list of landscape architecture firms is open to any firm in the Austin area that specializes in the design aspect of creating outdoor spaces. To be eligible, a firm must have a licensed landscape architect (RLA) on staff in Austin. The Austin area includes Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop, Caldwell and Burnet counties. From national offices to boutique firms, the majority of companies listed here are based in the Austin area and many have one office. The list is ranked by the number of local Registered Landscape Architects. Ties are broken by the number of landscape designers without the RLA designation. ABJ gathers list information via surveys sent to company representatives. Only firms that respond to requests for information are included.
