Large property adjacent to north Phoenix outdoor mall sells for $44 million

The developer, which owns and operates a multifamily complex in Scottsdale, was the sole bidder and winner of the 40-acre site adjacent to the longtime north Phoenix mall, which is also set to be auctioned off in December.
