Information was obtained from the U.S. Small Business Administration’s data for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2022. List includes loans made in the area covered by the Columbus District and Cincinnati Branch offices, which includes 60 counties in northwest, central and southern Ohio. Only lenders with loan offices or branches in Central Ohio are included. Additional SBA loans were made to local borrowers by banks and firms not located in Central Ohio. Changes may occur in the data due to subsequent loan increases or decreases, cancellations or other factors affected by timing differences. Numbers larger than 1 million are automatically rounded, however, rankings re based on unrounded numbers. Lenders are sorted first by number of loans, then by total loan volume to cut down on ties. In remaining ties, lenders are listed alphabetically.
