Stripe takes big space in South San Francisco, moving into biotech stronghold


Fintech powerhouse Stripe Inc. will move some 1,000 employees into 421,000 square feet in South San Francisco, locking up the $560 million first-phase leasing at Kilroy Realty Corp,'s massive Oyster Point project nearly two years ahead of schedule.

The 12-year lease follows biotech company Cytokinetics Inc.'s July deal for 234,892 square feet and comes as Kilroy (NYSE: KRC) has filed plans for the next three phases of the project totaling 2 million square feet.
