Las Cruces to weigh allowing outdoor cannabis consumption in licensed facilities


Currently, Las Cruces only allows recreational cannabis consumption areas indoors at licensed facilities. But that could soon expand to outdoor areas as well.

On Thursday, the City of Las Cruces will hold a public meeting to weigh the potential for allowing outdoor consumption of cannabis at licensed facilities. Ahead of the meeting, the city opened a survey to gauge the public’s interest and learn what operational restrictions they think should be in place.
