Las Vegas developer interested in buying Essex House


Anbang Insurance Group Co. wants to jettison a 15-hotel portfolio, and from the looks of it, the Beijing-based company may have found a buyer.

A Las Vegas real estate developer and its partners have expressed interest in buying the portfolio, which includes Manhattan’s Essex House.

That's according to The New York Post, which explained that Anbang owns a total of 18 U.S. hotels. It's not yet clear which hotels are officially up for sale.
