Lawyer-turned-chef will open an 8-seat sushi restaurant in Crossroads


Karson Thompson’s sushi restaurant will only have two seatings per night, for a total of 16 people. Thompson, who previously was a litigation attorney, graduated from culinary school in Japan and moved from Austin to Kansas City to open his restaurant. Here's how he plans to make it work.
