Lee’s Summit sues Jackson County for ‘failure to correctly assess real property’

Lee's Summit filed a lawsuit against Jackson County over its property assessments, saying the county violated state law. "The county still won’t get it right, and Lee’s Summit just can’t wait any longer,” Mayor Bill Baird said.
