Local Oyster, former Wit & Wisdom chef to open seafood restaurant at Hampden’s Whitehall Mill


The team behind The Local Oyster is partnering with former Wit & Wisdom executive chef Zachary Mills to bring a seafood restaurant to Hampden's Whitehall Mill development.

True Chesapeake Oyster House is slated to open in early 2019 inside the historic mill, which has since been converted to a mixed-use complex with office space and apartments.

The restaurant will focus on local seafood dishes and will be "refined but approachable," said Patrick Hudson, a Local Oyster partner.
