Local veterans to be honored at First Four games

A new event to honor local veterans will be held as part of The Big Hoopla activites that surround the NCAA First Four.

The first-ever "Big Hoopla Veterans Night" was made possible thanks to a new partnership with the CareSource Foundation and the Dayton VA Medical Center. The sponsorship from CareSource will allow 200 veterans and their families to attend a First Four basketball game March 20 at UD Arena, and will include a veteran recognition ceremony during halftime of the first game.
