CVS Health completed the installation of prescription drug disposal units in 17 Longs Drugs locations across Hawaii, the drug store giant announced Friday.
The initiative will help address the misuse of unwanted prescription medication – including opioids – and make disposal options more accessible to the community.
"We want to lead people on the path to better health," said Tanya Demattia, region manager of CVS Health Hawaii, in an interview with Pacific Business News.
