Louisville fund raises $6 million to invest in marketing firm


Poplar Ventures LLC, a Louisville-area investment firm, recently wrapped up a $6 million fundraising round to make an equity investment in an Indianapolis-based marketing technology firm called PERQ.

PERQ will use the money to grow its artificial intelligence-driven cloud marketing services for big-ticket retailers. The funding comes exclusively from technology leaders in the Midwest, according to a news release.
