Financial technology firm FIS announced this week Stephanie Ferris would be taking over the role of CEO from Gary Norcross, who has served as the company’s CEO for the last eight years and chairman since 2018. FIS (NYSE: FIS) is based in Jacksonville, Florida, but has 3,000 Milwaukee-area employees, according to Milwaukee Business Journal research.
