Manuel’s Tavern raises prices as ‘traditional pricing methods no longer worked’


Brian Maloof was driving all over Atlanta looking for poultry.

The Manuel's Tavern owner was rocked by rapidly rising prices on chicken breasts and wings. In an attempt to cut costs, Maloof decided to find the best deals around town and pick up his own supply instead of having it delivered from a restaurant vendor.

"I don't know how many extra miles I put on my truck," Maloof told Atlanta Business Chronicle. "Literally, tens of thousands of extra miles."
