Margot’s miracle: A cello that survived the Holocaust now ‘sings’ in Cincinnati


At a recent performance by the Ariel Quartet, string quartet-in-residence at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, the glorious sound of a cello soared out from the ensemble. In the audience, Yvonne Burry and her husband, Richard, smiled at each other knowingly.
