In the fall of 2020, two graduate students at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music saw the need to present more music by diverse composers on concert programs.
“It was a response to what we had been seeing in the classical music sphere,” said Jaime Sharp, who earned a master’s degree in vocal performance. “We essentially had this idea about making a group centered around new music and music that has not been represented adequately.”
