Mayor O’Connell wants an East Bank development deal done by year’s end


Metro won't maximize all the property tax revenue it could squeeze out of its city-owned land around the new Titans stadium because of its desire to feature affordable housing, public parks and a site for TPAC. It's a dynamic new Mayor Freddie O'Connell calls "the tension of the overall project," which he inherited from his predecessor. O'Connell wants to move quickly to get a deal approved at Metro Council.
