McDonald’s to test selling Krispy Kreme donuts

McDonald's Corp. will test the sales of Krispy Kreme doughnuts at some of its Louisville, Kentucky, restaurants later this month.

The Chicago burger giant (NYSE: MCD) said it will partner with the Charlotte, North Carolina-based doughnut maker (Nasdaq: DNUT) to sell three types of doughnuts beginning Oct. 26.

McDonald's will offer Krispy Kreme's original glazed doughnut, chocolate iced with sprinkles doughnut, and the raspberry filled doughnut at nine Louisville locations.
