McKinney’s Independent Bank buys Denver bank in $1B deal


McKinney’s Independent Bank has entered into an agreement to acquire Denver-based Guaranty Bancorp in a $1 billion deal that would grow the company’s presence in the state while Congress has moved to loosen oversight for financial institutions of its size.
