Mecklenburg County’s proposed budget will mean higher bills for many after property reval


The proposed budget for Mecklenburg County for fiscal year 2020 includes a proposed tax rate that, if passed, would result in a higher bill for property owners who saw a big jump in value from the revaluation that concluded earlier this year.
