Dr. L. Ebony Boulware will be the new dean of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She will also serve as vice chief academic officer and chief science officer of Atrium Health. Boulware will join the medical school in January 2023 and will succeed Dr. Julie Ann Freischlag, who remains as CEO of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and chief academic officer of Atrium Health.
