Memphis Taproom closing after 15 years in operation


A popular gastropub on the border of Kensington and Fishtown will shutter its doors at the end of the month after 15 years in operation.

Memphis Taproom, located at 2331 E. Cumberland St., announced on social media Thursday that it will permanently close on Jan. 29. The restaurant said in a Facebook post that it made the decision to sell after struggling for the past few years.
