Meritage Homes to start model homes in Spring Branch after Houston City Council approval


Weeks after Houston City Council approved rules restricting new home construction in floodplains, the council unanimously approved a measure April 25 that will pave the way to develop hundreds of new homes on the site of a former golf course that falls within the city’s mapped floodplain.
