Metro resident opens second jiu-jitsu gym


The Gracie Barra Alabama gym concept has expanded with a second location.

Kaliffa Oliveira, a Riverchase resident, and Frank Roncadori have opened a jiu-jitsu gym in Greystone at 5510 U.S. 280 S. The location, which opened in December, is the second for the duo. A Pelham gym opened in 2012.

According to the Hoover Sun, the gyms offer classes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and Muay Thai kickboxing.
