Miller Union chef Steven Satterfield’s roadmap for survival in the face of a 2023 recession


After more than two years of learning and adapting on the fly because of the pandemic, Steven Satterfield isn’t interested in planning ahead.

Satterfield, the James Beard award winner, partner and chef at Westside fine-dining staple Miller Union, has decided if an economic downturn comes in 2023, he’ll cross that bridge when he gets there.
