The cost to join a country club in the Twin Cities metro area continues to rise.
According to Business Journal research, the average initiation fee to join a country club in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro sits at around $35,000 so far in 2023 compared to about $30,000 last year — a 20% increase. The price hikes are reflective of the continued spike in demand for private club memberships brought on by the pandemic: The average initiation fee in 2020 was just $18,000.
