Mountain View leaders pressure Google for land over dollars in combating homelessness


Google Inc. is putting millions of dollars toward new housing and combating homelessness in its hometown of Mountain View, but is rebuffing pressure from city officials to donate an empty parcel of land and former gym facility as shelter for homeless residents, the Mountain View Voice reports.
