Fort Mill-based Movement Mortgage will lay off 180 employees nationwide as of Friday — its third round of layoffs this year.
The Charlotte region is taking the majority of the hit, as 75 employees here will receive pink slips come tomorrow. Other areas affected include: Norfolk, Virginia, with 43 people laid off; Tempe, Arizona, with 26 people; and Richmond, Virginia, with 35 people.
