Fort Mill-based Movement Mortgage laid off 100 more employees Thursday, 18 of which were based in the Charlotte region.
More than half of those laid off were employed at the firm's Norfolk, Va., operations center, while another 26 were located in Tempe, Ariz. “The remaining four employees were based in Richmond, Va. All of those affected will receive severance pay, access to financial counseling and Employee Assistance Program benefits, according to the company.
