Mr. J’s Original slated for former Hermitage Cafe space, bringing West Cost burgers to Nashville

A West Coast-style burger joint — with soft serve, pastrami sandwiches and more — is slated for Rutledge Hill in the former Hermitage Cafe spot. Owner Jason Flores hopes Mr. J's Original will be a community spot, “The objective is to have a soulful place for the community. Obviously, we are open to tourists, but we want to make sure it’s got a local vibe as well and food for everybody, nothing should be too expensive.”
