Mueller’s Delicatessen to shutter after 71 years


Another longtime Baltimore deli is closing its doors.

Mueller's Delicatessen, a staple on Harford Avenue in the Woodhome Heights neighborhood for 71 years, announced on Facebook that it will close on Sept. 23.

"We would like to thank all of our loyal customers!" the Facebook post read.

The German deli, run by third-generation owner Ken Mueller, was known for its white asparagus, shrimp salad, spaetzle and various desserts. Mueller could not immediately be reached for comment.
