N.J. suspends microbrewery limitations


New Jersey officials suspended a ruling introduced in September that put more limitations on what state microbreweries could and could not do, citing the need for additional studies and conversations about its impact on the Garden State's 88 beermakers.

The N.J. Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control last month introduced a special ruling that, among other things, capped the number of on-site events to 25 a year, and it capped the number of private on-site parties to 52 a year.
