Nashville home sales tumble in March


As temperatures were on the rise, Nashville-area home sales fell in March.

According to the latest data from Greater Nashville Realtors, there were 3,237 closings in the region last month, a 6 percent decline from March 2018.

Single-family homes sold for a median price of $305,000, up from $297,915 a year ago. Condo units sold for a median price of $223,000, up from $218,600.

The market's inventory of available homes, condos and lots stood at 11,276 at the end of March, up from 8,521 a year ago.
