NBA legend Tony Parker joins Minneapolis-based wealth-management firm


Tony Parker, the retired San Antonio Spurs legend, has put down the basketball and picked up a briefcase.

NorthRock Partners announced Tuesday that Parker has joined the wealth-management firm as president of its athletes, artists and entertainers division, according to a release. Parker previously was a client of Minneapolis-based NorthRock.

His first day is Tuesday and he'll eventually be working out of the new San Antonio office when it opens, though the timing of that opening isn't set yet,…
