New Albany creating city park to connect schools, library, Market Square


New Albany has started construction on a $17 million city park that will feature a pedestrian bridge over a stream that will connect cultural, educational and commercial centers in the heart of town.

Rose Run Park, named for the stream that runs along Dublin-Granville Road, is expected to boost foot traffic to the 100,000 square feet of retail and offices in Market Square and attract more private development, a city spokesman said.
